Easily my favourite Ramen in Toronto. Don't know why it's not busier but just as well. They have companion rice bowls for an extra $3.50 or extra noodles for $1.50 for the big eaters!
Lots talk about Santouka and Sansotei in Toronto, but seriously, I think Isshin is on the same level as Totto in NYC if you've been. That black garlic soup base is amazing!
Red Dragonramen is quite good. Not as spicy as it looks. Roasted meaty flavour, with lots of bean sprout, green peppers and other complementary toppings
We tried the gyoza and the takoyaki. They were ok. But i loved the ramens here. We had the recommended Red dragon and the spicy miso. They were really good. Definitely recommend this place
Oh my gosh. This is the best ramen in Toronto. I love their tantanramen, but really it’s all great. Their vegramen is some of the best I’ve had in the city. Get their takoyaki as well, it’s great.
Was a bit hot today so we tried the Tsukemen. Loved it! New item on the menu, limited during Spring. Tried the okonomiyaki too & weren't disappointed. Will try the ramen when the weather is not too hot
Spicy Red Miso Ramen - Delicious broth. Contains an ample amount of meat and vegetables. The Red Miso option isn't available from most of the competition, and is worth trying.
Decent authentic Japanese ramen. Isshin shares the same owner as Kingyo. The Tonkotsu Shirogomajio Ramen 豚骨 白胡麻塩 ラーメン was light & good. The Black Sesame DanDan Ramen was okay. DraftAsahi is only $5.
