The Pestsäule/Dreifaltigkeitssäule in the middle was built in 1723. The column is a memorial to the victims in plague epidemics.

Basically the very center of Linz. From here you have easy access to the main shopping street ('Landstrasse') and the old town ('Altstadt'), with all the shops and bars.

there's always some event going on here. been there for Art street performance and Kronen Festival (some music festival)
