One of my fav watering holes. Prices are pretty decent for Manhattan. Bathrooms are kind of on the stinky side. You can play darts in the back. $1 popcorn bowls. You may also bring your own food in.
It's cheap, dingy, dark, old, and the bar looks beaten up, but I love it. Cheapest happy hour on St. Mark's, and probably the cheapest overall on the block as well. So what? This is where you pregame.
Good ol' EV 'hood no frills old school bar still stands at where it's been after all these years while other bars were all gone or taken over by hip eateries or boutiques. Love it or hate it.
It's like Star Trek, DS9. An outpost on the edge of the neutral zone full of different species. Blueshirts, NYU kids, jocks and third wave crusts. There's something for everyone.
This is my favorite bar in all of New York City. It was my local for four years since I lived accross the street! Best bar in the Village, great staff, and just a great atmosphere!!!
