Ellen Trout Zoo

The zoo is beautiful, even though the lion and the rhino were not in exhibition at the time of my visit, this place is a must see when you're in Lufkin. Be ready to admire the peacocks!

A good small town zoo, if you have a few hours stop by and check it out. Don't expect the Fort Worth Zoo, but I was happily surprised by the number of good exhibits they have.

This zoo is a perfect trip for someone that does not have a lot of money! My kids loved it..
