The Stones’ 1st official photos (by Terry O’Neill) showed them lugging their gear, scowly-faced, past fruitmarket stalls outside this Covent Gardentheatre, long since renamed the Donmar Warehouse.
Andrew says, "Go see whatever's playing at the Donmar Warehouse. Oh it's Henry IV by an edgy director. I would club someone over the head to have tickets to this, even if they were standing tickets."
It's the most charming theatre iin London. Small, with just 250 seats and 10 stand places avaible. It's always crowded becsause the plays are usually very good.
Small, high-quality experimental productions. I saw a production of Henry IV with an all-female cast set in a women's prison. Andrew says, "I would club someone over the head to get tickets."
Home to some of London’s most memorable award-winning productions from contemporary reappraisals of European classics to small scale musicaltheatre, there is something for everybody at this Theatre.
