Really inventive menu. Cos with black garlic is simply amazing! All courses were really good though wine especially is rather pricey. We got a great view of the prep with the bar seating. Strong buy!
Nice and cosy restaurant. Staff is really friend and the taste menu is great with some nice variation of plates. Really surprised by some plates, special the cabbage one
Speciality includes Salt-baked and butter roasted onion with caviar & buttermilk, Wild goose with pickled bilberries and grilled butter & Smoked chocolate with rhubarb and chervil
Such an amazingly tasty, creative and to me very nordic tasting dinner. The wine pairing with the tasting menu is special, but in combination with the food perfect!
Dining at DILL is always a great experience. Try the 7 courses menu and wine pairings, imagined by Mads Refselund, co-founder of NOMA and currently brillant Chef at ACME, NY.
In retrospect, while this was a great dinner spot, it was not truly memorable. Wine pairing is essential as the food, while well cooked, can be bland at time.
This is a difficult review to write. The courses are a mixed bag. There's some great and unique dishes and some underwhelming. Glad I had the experience, not sure if I'd do it again though.
Phenomenal tasting menu made with fresh ingredients from the restaurant's garden! If you're not up for the wine pairing, ask your waiter to choose a few wines by the glass. :)
Icelandic fare is not great tasting. Period. Dill does good things with Icelandic ingredients but you don't remember or crave the dishes after the meal. Paying 125$ for this meal is not worth it.
