Try the fireman's burrito (or do the challenge if you're up for it!). Red chile is hot, hot, hot so beware before dumping it on your food. Definitely try the sopapillas with honey - sweet and salty.

Home style local spot... Breakfast burritos are the specialty... They are only open until 2 pm. For chiles.. Ask for Christmas and you get both red and green. Yum!

Authentic chicharrones and excellent chile. Enjoy both in the awesome Fireman's burrito. (10lb version available if hungry!)

Great meetup locale for downtown brunch. Small and extremely atmospheric. Great intro for first visit to ABQ downtown area.

Been here 2 Sundays this winter and found Cecilia's to be closed. Google says they are open 7-3, so might want to call first, since their weekend schedule seems to fluctuate.

Dont forget to ask how.hot.the red chile.is. You probably will want it on the side. Your ass will thank you, no matter how New Mexican you are.

Omelet was great. Beware of the chunks of fresh jalapeno in it. Makes it pretty hot.
