Harmony is picturesque and good for beginners; Crowning Glory is a great energetic run for advanced riders; Sidewinder and Lookout Ridge both very fast for advanced skiers!
Great skiing If you ski in the backcountry and know what you're doing. Don't be a fool and leave the resort if you don't know what you're doing because the consequences could be fatal. Have fun!
Easy access to the slopes, great morning buffet for $25 per person, staff attentive and condoswell kept. At 750 a night for two bedrooms and small living area and kitchen a bit steep.
The flats suck this time of year (mid March) but the rest is good. Gorgeous views, great food at Drafts, loved hanging out mid mountain and base. It was HOT, wear sunscreen!
You'll get the most out of it if you: 1. Download the EpicMix App (free) to track your runs and pics and 2. Understand that Tombstone is the gateway from one side of the mtn to the other
Nice big mountain with updated lifts, etc. (fast & in case of Orange Bubble - heated!). Not as much apres ski as Park City, but felt like a more authenticski experience.
Favorite runs: snowdancer, kokopelli and Echo. Harmony is very scenic -tunnels and bridges, best when groomed. Avoid Sidewinder which is very icy and unpleasant.
Day Parking:•Cabriolet lot, located after the entrance is free all day. The Cabriolet runs from 7 am-7:30pm•Grand Summit has valet parking for $8 a day.• Silverado & Sundial Lodge has no parking
Good spot to ski. There aren't that many green runs for newbies but the blues are good trails. Also there are lockers in the Village and at the Red Pinelodge.
