A dark and brooding Japanese whisky dive bar in the basement of Bincho Yakitori. Mizuwari is inspired by the traditional Izakayas of Japan, laid back places to kick back and grab a drink... Read more

Spring onion skewer is probably not on your radar, but EAT IT! Grilled asparagus feel, savoury onion taste. My fav. Get a shochu cocktail too, especially if you like drinks that aren't so intense.

Literally one of my favourite restaurants. Great atmosphere and amazing yakitori. Try the ninniku chaahan (garlic rice) you'll never look back!

Every time I come, I get The Seven Samurai - seven of their most popular skewers and they're all delicious! Good deal at £10 too (would be £13.20).

Very nice tapas style Japanese Yakitori. They had some problems with their kitchen so we couldn't try anything except the grills. Portions are small and bill adds up quickly.

Food and service upstairs was perfect -- Unagi was delicious. But downstairs the barman was patronising and pretentious. Disappointing as I was looking forward to some Japanese Whiskey, but we left.

The quail egg wrapped in panacetta is pure foodgasm! Soo good! Drinks wise Oolong Hai (too watery) and Chu Hai (too sweet) tho disappointingly miss the mark.

There's something about the Oyako Don which is just addictive and the Sori Yakitori (Chicken Oysters) are just so succulent.

Strictly speaking, yakitori refers to the poultry part of the menu, which includes wonderfully flavoursome sori (chicken oysters) and tangy aigamo (duck with spring onion and wasabi). Read more

Not sure their pricing system is strictly legal.... It costs £3, but you must order two of everything. Anyway, looking forward to my two half bottles of rosé.

Tasty Yakitori if they cook it right: we had raw chicken in ours and food poisoning on two occasions. Terrible service and rude arrogant manager; shame as Jap staff are sweet. Quite overpriced overall
