Sit at one of the communal benches in Bar Jamon and order some slices of tortilla espanola, a nourishing egg and potato custard slicked with garlic aioli, and there is your perfect late night meal. Read more

The perfect place for a glass of good wine and consistently delicious bite in the union square area, this is my go to for an after work meet up with a friend. Be wary, it's tiny, not great for groups.

Excellent place for a pre-dinner drink or an evening of tapas & vino. My favorite a place by the window. The bar is small so when it gets full, it tends to be noisy, not ideal for conversations.

Feels like a true tapas bar in Spain. Stand at the bar and get some type of seafood dish, jamon, tortilla and whatever else - you really can't go wrong. Wash it down with a cold bottle of Txakoli.

Always busy, claustrophobic, awesome. Great food - only cold dishes, wonderful wine list and a fun vibe. Romesco soft egg is delicious as are the mussels escabeche. Come early, place fills up by 6pm.

Great place! Small and cozy but with quite an extensive wine selection. Just ask the waiter for a recommendation they are very knowledgeable. Oh, and the tapas are fantastic!

Lovely bar with great food & interesting wine list. My only complaint is the crowd that got a bit too loud for the ambience I was going for at a place like this.

Good wine with a great atmosphere! Music isn't too loud, cozy place good for dates. Dishes are tasty although a little expensive (but that's tapas)

Small spot great to catch up with friends. They serve wine in little carafes which = 1.5 glass portions which is the perfect amount.

Nice joint near Union Sq for vino & grub, mostly from Spain. It's puny and can get way crowded, but has great atmosphere & if you're a pair, the two window stools are the best to hang out at.

Small but good bar in its own right but most wait here for a table at Casa Mono. Excellent service and light bites.

This small wine bar can get crowded, but it's a friendly crowd so don't worry. The wine comes in quartinos, so you can share and try more varieties.

Excellent wine and tapas. But avoid if you want conversation. The decibel and reverb level is ludicrous. A slight auditory design change might fix the problem.
