General rule: any dish will be enough for at least least twice the number of people it's meant for. But the food is so good and so cheap it's worth sampling widely.
The food is good and very cheap (tabouleh, hummus, baba ganoush — just mix it!), but be careful if you are white woman. You can stay for hours to make a simple order! Probably, are they chauvinists?
If you want to venture a bit from the usual suspects, try the fatteh, a wonderful concoction of chickpeas, garlic, labneh, fried pita chips and cashews roasted in butter
Wow! €4 for 7 falafels that are so fresh they melt in your mouth. Sizes are big. The hummus is fantastic. I always take my food leftovers home there’s so much!
Halal food. Take a "Shawarma Teller" or "Falafel-Teller" - plates are so huge, you could share it. You can also order those in a pita bread. Then say: "Shawarma im Brot" / "Falafel im Brot"
The place were alternative citytrippers, hipster locals and Middle-Eastern refugees congregate. Watch out what you order, it's certainly oustandingly delicious but the portions are way to large man :)
I mean, they have one separate cook who’s doing *only* fatta/fateh! Kind of obvious what to try. For the carnivores - ask for extra minced meat on your fatta.
I was looking for a good place to eat a Kebab in the hood and found this. Service is not the fastest and surely not the friendliest, but the food is good!
Great food&large portions. As other women mentioned: I repeatedly had to wait for almost an hour for my food when placing an order on my own. Men that were behind me in the queue were served first :(
