After navigating the wilds of Beijing's urban jungle, I'm so melting about the ambience & the atmosphere of this resort. So misteriously-tranquil-calm-peaceful & quiet... This makes a lovely retreat

Be prepared to settle in and not feel like going anywhere else - save your secret passage into the Palace. Have a swim, book a movie, drink pondside at the bar & go for a run around the Palace lake

Totally recommend to have a look after the summer palace visit. The tea saloon in the backyard has healthy and tasty offers.
