    JA 三ヶ島の前に立つ。入間郡三ヶ島 (みかじま) 村は 1889 年に三ヶ島、三ヶ島堀之内、糀谷、林の各村が合併して成立。1955 年に所沢市に編入され消滅。三ヶ島の名は、もともと原野の中にあたかも 3 つの島のように集落があったことに由来するという。
