Nice beach. Restrooms, snacks and watersport available. A set of 2 chairs and one umbrella is 30 $. But of course there's enough room to place your own towles and umbrella for free.
The all day beach pass is deffinatly worth $79. You get to go kayaking, parasailing, paddle boarding, tubing, windsurfing, peddle boating and more for as long you like.
Beach wasn't bad. Very convenient to our accommodations at the Double Tree, along with access to a shuttle. You can also access various types of water sports, chair and umbrella rentals.
Best beach 🏖 I’ve discovered in key west . Quiet , nice sand , easy to access . Grab some shade under a palm tree 🌴 and relax . Highly recommend if you’re a big beach person like myself ☀️
The beach itself is beautiful. The water's really pretty. However, there's tons of seaweed, rocks, random fish (which I'm cool with), and urchins (which I'm not cool with).
On the afternoon of September 2, 2013, Diana Nyad finished her Cuba-Florida swim here. She became the first person to swim from Havana to Key West without a shark cage.
Watch out for all the bums stinking up the picnic tables. Also check the water quality tests before you dive in. This beach was shut down for almost 20 weeks for excessive fecal bacteria in the water.
Good for water sports, bad for swimming. Showers in poor condition and far from water sports rent office. There are no restaurants nearby but small food trucks provide beverage, snacks and fast food.
