Though it might be difficult to find, it's worth the search. Start at one of the information centers to get a map for a tour. Don't worry if you're getting off track, it may offer good perspectives.

Great to wander around to take a look the local architectural building with the impressive scenery. Also, there were lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, local sweets, and good coffee shops around.

Bukchon Hanok Village, called "the street museum in the urban core," is a residential area in Seoul, home to hundreds of traditional Korean houses, historical spots, and cultural heritage sites.

General speaking, it's more like a high end residential on the hill overlook a part of Seoul, than a transitional village you assumed. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants near by.

Lovely, scenic walks where cherry blossoms trees line the roads and little alleyways as one explores architecture and art. Quaint cafes, little shops, big shops, restaurants and bakeries await.

Lose yourself this charming old school village and imagine what old school Korea was like while enjoying a great city view and a nice sunset.

Hanok means traditional Korean houses. This area is hilly so wear something comfortable and walk around for a bit! There are tea houses and little shops in renovated hanoks.

Bring your walking shoes so you can go up and down hills, exploring fun art galleries and shops. Lots of little coffee shops and pizzerias at the bottom.

So many people strolling the streets trying to get that good shot. It is a good place to get pics but be mindful of the residents regarding noise.

Great little area to be inspired by traditional heritage. A must for all creative soul. Pls lower the noise level just so we don't disturb the locals.

There are a few Hanok Village around and that while you are walking around this area, please talk quietly and do take some pics with girls on traditional costumes.

Lovely architecture and nice views. Leaflet's were conveniently put out for tourists and gave the best walking route. Don't forget to talk quietly because residents still live there!

Get a walking map in tourist information center. Please be quiet in neighbourhood and do not disturb the residents, do not leave any trash. You may chill at cafe to have a break during hot day.

A neighbourhood with traditional homes. I'd recommend visiting here really early or later in the day – it gets really crowded with all the tourists.

The place is filled with small cozy cafè. You can find many shops to rent the traditional Korean cloth and take photos in them.

Lower your voices here as the residents here do not like to be interrupted by tourists. Come in the evening around 5pm. Less crowded

Gorgeous old architecture, a bit hilly, some homes allow you in for free.

Walk around and find little cute small museums/shops around. There is also a traditional house open for public ;)

It is a beautiful place. There are traditional houses. If you look style of traditional houses, This is a good place to you.

Leave the crowds behind and pop into Simsimhan for a tour of the house and a cup of tea.

Don't miss a tour in one of the homes. But don't try their tea, very sweet.

Dont make too much noise as this is a residental area but this is place is amazing 😉
