    Food here is very good. Had the salted egg sotong, asam fish, prawn paste chicken, pork ribs and tofu with fish paste. Recommended.

    Another place for tai chow. Tried their hokkien mee. And it was nice. Most of the patrons are having the yin yong. I should give it a try in my next visit.

    Very old restaurant, the fried kangkung is very good, and don't forget the old style Fish head is very difficult to find in KL nowadays

    Axian: 五香骨则是用五种不同的调味料包括茄汁、辣椒酱、蚝油、糖和麻油腌制,下锅炸之后再炒香,虽然完全没有使用五香粉,味觉层次却非常丰富。南乳骨,顾名思义是用南乳腌制之后下去炸,南乳和腐乳有什么不一样?南乳有多少红曲米,腐乳就没有。南乳也是腐乳的一种,不过由于是浙江人所创制,而浙江的位置就在长江以南,因此这种腐乳就被取名为南乳。

    Axian: 姜茸蒸鲩鱼,鲩鱼就是广东话所说的鲩鱼。我其实经常听到老饕用广东话说,“鳙鱼头,鲩鱼尾,鲮鱼中间头搭尾””,意思就是说, 要吃鱼头就吃鳙鱼头,因为鳙鱼的特点就是头部很大,所以鳙鱼其实也叫大头鱼、胖头鱼。那如果要吃鱼尾就吃鲩鱼。一句简单的“鳙鱼头,鲩鱼尾”,就说出了不同鱼鲜的最好部位,这也是许多老饕吃鱼的不二法则。

    Axian: 其实对老吉隆坡人来说,九如饭店以前是一个响当当的名字。店主以前曾经经营九如饭店易手之后的茶室,后来在屋主将产业变卖的情况下,才搬过来谐街经营煮炒,不过他依旧保留新九如的招牌。如今的新九如,菜单非常多样化,主打的则是广式煮炒和粉食。03-20786035GPS: N 3∘8.627' E 101∘41.803'1100-2130 Closed on Wednesday

    Axian: 广东人在烹调上的变化多端,单是骨头,都可以有好几种煮法,这就是红烧骨排。很多人听过排骨,很少听骨排?骨排就是排骨和花腩一起,就是排骨上面的肥猪肉。老板所说的骨排,一般称作肉排、肋排或腩排,这个部位的特征是连皮带肥肉,兼具浓浓的骨香味,而且肉比较厚,符合了红烧材料不宜太薄的要求
