The museum does a superb job recording the struggle of the native Greeks to free historical Macedonia & the Greek people from 500 yrs of oppression & the nationalistic interests of foreign occupation

Cosy and amazing place with exciting history! You could find unusual details of the lifestyle of the historic period or catch sight of rare original documents. Uniquely worth visiting!

Museum explaining how Greeks wrested control of Macedonia from both Turks and Bulgarians. Very nationalistic but interesting.
