Everybody goes crazy over the Street Fighter II arcade (and well they should) but the NBA Jam TE arcade is harder to find at bar arcades in New York. Get your ridiculous dunk on. BOOMSHAKALAKA!
New bar/arcade in the LES features 22 rotating games, a surprisingly sophisticated (yet reasonably priced) selection of wine and sake, craft beer pours, and 40s of Colt 45s (via Thrillist) Read more
I grew up in the arcade/8-bit generation, so this bar will strike those nostalgia chords with ease. Great selection of arcades and pinball machines, don't be afraid to try a game you never played!
Final Fight has to be the best 2 player arcade game here. Making it to the end will cost you ~$8 depending on skill and teamwork. Play as Haggar the former wrestler & new mayor - also Jessica's Dad!
Cheap beer...had PBRs at 3.75 a pop. A pretty decent rotation of games. It was refreshing seeing 90s hits like final fight and mortal kombat. Its barcade minus the douchebags and hipsters.
You can find 32 different retro arcade games in this punk rock bar that seems lifted straight out of the 1980s. Pacman, Donkey Kong, and Frogger keep company with 13 pinball machines. Read more
The quality of the games is low, so expect to just have fun, be silly and have a drink with friends. If you do pay for the games, they are very cheap, so it matches the quality.
Now that you're an adult, your parents can't stop you from pumping quarters into the X-Men arcade machine to finally defeat Magneto. Smaller and grittier than Barcade, but in a good way.
A couple of good pinball machines in the back. The Avengers one is not that great and Elvira's flippers are pretty unresponsive but the 24 (the show) one is pretty good. Have fun!
Bring quarters! use up old change on Mortal Kombat and buck hunter! my friend liked the old school Star Wars game. The pinball is surprisingly fun when you play 2 player.
Fun dive bar with lots of pinball and other arcade games. Buyer beware - a lot of the games will eat your quarters & you'll get nothing in return. And beer is too expensive tbh. But it's a good time.
Keeping it classy: they only serve beer & wine, no liquor. Bring cash or your laundry quarters; ATM in the back charges $2.50. Try 2 person Tetris, way harder than it looks!
This narrow bar's pinball machines are $0.75-$1.00 per game (sometimes 3 games for $2), and gets crowded fast. Dogfish Head 60 Minute on tap is a plus ($6.50).
Gritty, raw, and slick, Two-Bit features a selection of classic arcade & pinball games from the awesome 80s & early 90s. While playing your favorite games from childhood, sample our extensive lineup of craft beer, wine, and sake. Game on!
