Great hotel, avoid rooms near the central lifts, they’re loud at night. Restaurants are over priced, but the sunsetbar has a great cheaper menu. The view from sunset point at sundown is incredible!
One of the greatest hotels I've stayed in. Staff is great pool is awesome and the seating overlooking the surfers makes this a truly awesome hotel. No longer a Hilton property for years.
Relaxing? Enjoy the salt water pool, or the complimentarybeachloungers. If you are interested in fitness, Nalu Kinetic Fitness facility is state of the art and looks over the majestic ocean.
Is in the other side of the island very far from the crowed of Waikiki, the restaurant by the beach is my favorite they make the best burger. Make sure you validate your parking pass at the restaurant
Staff is overly nice. Large pool area, usually with a fair amount of kids. Numerous restaurant options, all of which are overpriced. Constant wind and big waves, look out for afternoon surfers.
Hit up Ola for lunch & drinks for cheapest drinks and food. On Sunday @ 6 fire dancers will start at hang ten by the pool. Head south of resort tobeach to the south of the resort to spot turtles
Finally a place with Wi-Fi that actually works! It seems every room has its own router + all over the place, every restaurant, every bar. Wi-Fi even works at the beach, just barely.
North Shore is the place to be, yes it's a resort, but it has nice areas you can walk to and have your own private beach. Way better than Aulani Disney Resort
The swim area of the beach can get crowded during the day. There is a lot of coral. Beach stretches to your right behind the green hut another mile. Cabanas $50-75/first come, first serve.
Right now our Spa is being renovated but there is still awesome services available. You get 15% off treatments/massages and 10% off hair and nails until the reno is complete!
The best thing about this hotel isn't the beach, or the golf course, or the hammocks or the Mai tais, it's the staff. Friendliest people I've ever met. Come to turtlebay, you won't regret it.
Nicest rooms I've ever stayed in on Oahu (better than a corner Hilton room and the Outrigger Reef), but the dining here is a step below.Ola is overpriced for what you get, but the view is to die for!
If you want a good meal, don't go to the hotel! Go to Lei Lei's or Ola's. If you want an amazing Martini, see Allie at 21 Degrees. The Bay Club is fun for late night drink with friends.
Grab a towel, drink & your camera! Sit & watch the surfers catch big waves around 5ish behind the pool area, starting at the bay that feeds out into the ocean.
Great fun especially if you surf. Themain dining room sucks. Go see Virginia at the coffee cart and she will hook you up with coffee and fruit/muffins/salads. Nearby shrimptrucks are great
I suggest looking for local places to eat unless you're willing to spend $60 for mediocre breakfast (for 2.) Dinner was better but still a Lil pricey. Other than that, the resort is incredible.
Place is in need of a facelift. Food is expensive & service is very average. But you do get good access to beaches on both east & west side. And unlike other resorts, the sun beds are free to use.
A rare gem of a destination. A truly iconic Hawaiian landmark. The only resort of its kind anywhere on the North Shore of Oahu, our idyllic location is the perfect base to get fully immersed in the authentic island experience.
