Year round this resort offers some of the most serene views. Service is terrific as everyone is super friendly. I understand the Trapp beer is very tasty but if you don't like it you are out of luck.
Great place for beer geeks on Vermont beercations to stay. Just 3 miles from the Alchemist's tasting room. An hour from Hill Farmstead. And the lagers at the Trapp Family Bierhall next door are great.
The Lodge may be known for its stunning and prime location, however don't miss out on some of the best traditional Austrian cuisine - indulge in the Black Forest Cake and sample their very own Lagers.
If you are dining with children, the piano bar is an excellent choice. The fireplace on a windy night is especially nice. Good beer on tap and traditional Austrian food with terrific service.
