You can't check in to a flight more than 6 hours early here. Apparently it takes a long time to get anywhere fun, too. Don't expect to check out Toronto with a long layover. Just enjoy a nice airport.

Be prepared when you're at Terminal 3 departures, that the traffic staff are assholes... They start asking you to leave before you even get out of the car...
