Low-key but well-stocked craft-brew bar adds a small menu of meatless sandwiches, salads, and snacks, as culinarily inventive as a smoked-tofu bánh mì adorned with house-fermented kimchee and avocado.
Vegetarian here: One of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. Love the great beers, pickles, incredible sandwiches, kimchi, pies, everything else. Entire menu is vegetarian, and I'd recommend any of it.

Pickles and beer, together at last! This collaboration between Brooklyn Brine and Dogfish Head pairs great vegetarian food with a rotating selection of brews from the beloved Delaware brewery.
Amazing tofu bahn mi and grilled cheese (cashew cream is delicious for those avoiding dairy). Nice outdoor space. One of the best beer menus I've seen. Great spot.
Simple vegetarian menu, but good vegetarian - no fake meats & cheeses.. The beer list (both on draft and in bottles) makes up for the lack of meat. Nice garden out back when it's warm!
Village Voice is proud to welcome The Pickle Shack to the 2014 Choice Eats food fest! http://bit.ly/1cRzdNV. Fried pickles with aioli is as mouthwatering as it looks and sounds.
The waitress said they make the veggie burger by cooking down a mixture of mushrooms, beets, and other vegetables, canning the mix, steaming it, then slicing it into patties. Holy shit it was amazing.
Small but great menu (as others have said) and mighty beer selection. But the acoustics here are off - this spot is loud. Be wary if you want a conversation
