The statue of Athena is unexpectedly large and startlingly colorful when you first encounter it. The building's facade is very impressive set in the sedate greenness of the park
The full scale replica of the actual Parthenon is very impressive and a must visit when in Nashville. Inside is a colossal statue of Athena with gilded gold. Closed on mondays.
The Parthenon was built in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition and is located in Centennial Park. It's definitely worth making the trip to see if passing through or visiting Nashville.
This is a great place to share, learn, take photos, and relax. Next best thing to being in Greece. The staff are very nice, it's the exact replica as to the Parthenon in Athens.
The museum is definitely worth the entry price, $6 per person. The paintings inside are beautiful. 'A day at the exposition' exhibit paints a lifelike picture of ancient times.
Not the original as in Athens. But actually better because you can see the beauty and what it looked like originally. Truly same size and neat to visit. Don't forget the gardens in the spring.
Everything. I may be partial being pagan and loving other multi god religions, but it was a phenomenal experience. Brilliant art, and the actual Parthenon, Athena, and busts were amazing
The sheer size of this structure as well as the Athenastatue inside was breathtaking. Downstairs exhibit was also unique and cool, although no photos allowed in the exhibit hall.
Great place & worth the stop. Was surprisingly more art & things to look at than we had anticipated there to be. Anticipate spending 1-2 hours if you like art.

For those wondering what the hell a replica of the Greek Parthenon is doing in Tennessee, visit this. Your questions won't be answered but visit it anyway.
The Parthenon stands proudly as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the focus of the Parthenon just as it was in ancient Greece. The building and the Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of the Athenian originals.
