- Can't get over the "cozy" factor of this really clean hotel. Does have a certain charm to it. Be aware that you have to give up a (professional) working desk, HDTV, and possibly a private bathroom.
- BobbyOctober 1, 2018Great location downtown, but noisy on the weekend nights. The rooms are clean, comfortable and on the smaller side.
- Conjunction Y.&oNovember 2, 2015There is a great variety of amenity in the room. The Wireless internet connection service is very comfortable.
- Luis MendozaMarch 8, 2016Affordable, cozy "European" small hotel rooms in great location. Coffee and muffins early morning. Use code LMENDOZA42 on Hotels Tonight for $25 off first booking!
- I've stayed here 4 times over the past year & each time my room has been better than the last. I think it's the luck of the draw. This time I have a desk, a closet and a reading chair. It's like home!
- The location is great (in the middle of everything and quite near Union Square), but the room was really too small and we had only one Queensize-bed for two persons. Vallet service works very well.
- Jason HarmonFebruary 6, 2014Very euro with the tiny rooms & shared bath. Otherwise nice low key place, perfect for an overnight trip and you just need a good bed to sleep in for the night.
- Location is great 2 blocks from the convention center. Rooms are small but not too bad.
- Dayna ScottMarch 26, 2014Super close to the Powell St. BART and great restaurants - no showers in the rooms, but everything is nice and clean
- Rooms are small, and can get quite hot. Well maintained, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Great location too.
- Denis GryzlovJune 8, 2011Free coffee and muffings at morning, great prices and the best location if you are attending at Moscone Center. Shared bathrooms are not an issue, never saw an occupied bath through a whole week.
- expect small rooms, but amazingly clean. very European style hotel. I always get a rm w/ a private bath. also, great rates with AAA card.
- Pros: Great location, super clean, comfy beds, helpful staff, free wifi, free coffee and muffins for breakfast. Cons: no desk, no closets, power difficult to access, dodgy wifi, walls are paper thin.
- Diane LeeAugust 3, 2011a private room with your bathroom is convenient! staff is nice and friendly. free wifi.
- Nice hotel! Hanging out in the lobby you might meet some interesting ppl
- trinity songNovember 7, 2010It doesn't have desk in a room, so I have to work on the bed, it's totally a hotel for budget travelers. But it is very clean and convenient in other ways.
- Gabriel GarciaDecember 19, 2011Small rooms, but if you are going to be out and about, then the size of the room doesn't matter. Priced right and great location.
- Lisa Crenshaw-MusicOctober 13, 2011One of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in but super cute and comfortable.
- Kola BelloAugust 23, 2012Great location. Definitely check out Mel's drive in on Mission if you like a diner breakfast.
- LeonAugust 3, 2012If you get a small room, talk to front desk and they'll sort it out - they're very nice and helpful.
- European style boutique hotel at budget prices. I always opt for a single and use shared bath facilities. Can usually get with round trip air for about $400 for 5 days/4 nights. Read more
- For Apple products users, if you can't get connected to the wifi, add a $ before the password :).
- This place is nice and cozy u need anything they try and help u out
- Relatively cheap, nice location. Wifi not always working. Small rooms but good beds.
- Rous RgAugust 20, 2014Most of the persons that work at the hotel try to give a good service BUT the woman at night AWFUL! I ask 4 a cab 4 my early flight and she do NOTHING, she said tomorrow we will find out. CERO service
- trinity songNovember 9, 2010clean, comfortable, kind, cozy. I asked for a desk and they put a cute, clean desk in my room!
- Peter BadovinatzJanuary 15, 2015Yup, "European", small room but nothing unfamiliar. Free WiFi and not noticed it being slow. We'll see hoe the brekkie is in the morning.
- austin gayerFebruary 22, 2012The rooms are super small. Cool old building but for my money I would stay at a different hotel. Did I mention the rooms are small?
- Anna MigasMay 10, 2019Horribly loud from the outside and the heating system. Room was claustrophobic and way too hot.
- Phil MalowitzAugust 30, 2011Don't get the room next to the elevator on the 6th floor. There's a door that goes to the room next door and so
- Complementary muffins, tea, and coffee in the mornings.
- the rooms are small but how much space do you really need?
- Don WojnickiJanuary 11, 2012PROS; good location, cheap, and clean CONS; really small rooms, slow Internet, & loud
- There's filtered water for those with water bottles on the basement level.
- Lane CollinsFebruary 3, 2017Don't stay here unless you're desperate or you find a dirt-cheap rate. Tiny rooms with paper-thin walls, and more than once I've walked into the elevator only to find dirty sheets on the floor. (?!)
