The Independent is one of San Francisco's treasures. You get to see great bands before they're big, the venue is the perfect size and you won't find any screaming teens.
Mos Def tonight (2/3/10) at one of the best places to see a show in The City.

Thriving IvoryApril 30, 2009We released our first independent CD here in June 2006. Also, Paul used to work here as a bouncer. He got to see a lot of great shows, fight a guy and get his band mates into show.
