Amazing view of Manhattan from the bar. The drinks are pricey but it's worth a visit, especially at sunset. The barman was grumpy though.

Awesome views, great cocktails, stylish vibe. Make sure to dress in your hipster finest, and if you can, reserve a table rather than hovering over the bar.

As awesome as Manhattan is, you can't really see Manhattan from Manhattan. The Ides has a view of the island that can't be beat. Go during the day...it gets way too "nightclubby" at night. Read more

A bit expensive but the view towards Manhattan is very nice, especially during sunset. Enjoy it with a cocktail in the terrace sitting in a chaise longue.

Keep your fingers crossed that there’s no line, because the view from the rooftop is amazing! All the staff are BEAUTIFUL, sweet and attentive. Try the Chihuahua.

There's no denying these are some of the best views (of Manhattan) in Brooklyn. That said, the vibe is bro-y, and the drinks are weak. Takeaway: bring a visitor here for one drink, then split.

Great rooftop bar in Wythe Hotel Williamsburg, amazing views to Manhattan by night! On late Saturday night it was not packed, bubbly was reasonably priced and the she played music like The Smiths. 👌

Small rooftop with laid back atmosphere, but great view of Manhattan skyline. Come by just before sunset then watch the city lights go up.

Good place to enjoy the view or have an anxiety attack, depending on mood. Very pretty, upscale, but not trashy/club crowd. Didn't imbibe, but it's a very nice place with great views. Bring friends.

The place is amazing, beautiful view and the cocktails are worth coming from anywhere in NYC. Only disappointing point: waiters at the bar are probably the rudest I found in the whole city.

Hip bar that overlooks different parts of the city. The outdoor area is great during summer. Nice cocktails and friendly staff. Super cozy.

Beautiful view of Manhattan to sip your cocktail with. Dine at the restaurant beforehand to avoid the line to get to the rooftop bar on Saturday nights.

Show up early for the awe-inspiring view of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The bar opens at 5 p.m. and gets full quickly, and then the velvet rope comes in to play unless the hostess likes you.

Spent bank holiday Monday here in the sun with some great cocktails and an incredible view. Only one bartender so he was very busy but worth the wait.

When you're turning into Brewer's Row from Bedford Ave., you know you're almost there! Stop at Brooklyn Brewery on your way, if its Saturday or Sunday (for a bigger brew selection).

Decent small bites and drinks. There was a DJ even on a random tuesday nite, fun vibe. But the best part is the amazing view of manhattan!

Service shocking! We sat down at the bar and there where extra stools for us. On the second round the waitress tried to take two without asking one from my pregnant wife. But great coctails and view..

The menu is great. Execution and bartending... Not so much. That being said the space makes up for the faults of the staff. If they can get the kinks worked out this would be THE place to go in WB.

The decor outside of Ides is pretty minimal, with simple metal tables on a gray-tiled deck, but that's not deterring the crowds, and it offers no distraction to the views of Manhattan. Read more

They make you wait on purpose a lot too excessively for the amount of ppl that was actually on the rooftop. You would think they would want it to be a little bit more filled at least.
