The owner brings some of his Indian dishes from his old restaurant, in addition to all the southern options. The shrimp curry was wonderful. Ask for any daily specials for more.

The chicken and collards are great! Avoid the mashed potatoes, though - they're literally just a skinless baked potato smushed up with a fork on a saucer, no moisture or seasoning.

The Hitching Post has some of the area's best (and underrated Soul Food). It has been run by the same couple for at least 20 years. Be sure to try the fried chicken dinner. Note that portions here are

They do eggs and grits with anything else -- I got fried chicken -- some of the best in the city!

New ownership, place looks nice with upgrades, but quality and quantity of food is terrible. I will not be coming here again.
