- Chris KarlAugust 12, 2017Very affordable and super delicious food. Watch out for the hot sauce, it's freaking hot.
- Josh KongmanyJuly 25, 2017I got the regular size chicken and beef gyro platter. I'm known to be able to wolf down a meal, but the amount of food I got here was a challenge. Good thing it was delicious! Beware of the red sauce!
- Nancy KangJune 19, 2015Chicken/gyro platter over rice & salad $7.61. Yum. They really are not playing when it comes the red sauce! Just a tiny bit goes a long way 🔥
- Jimmy JoustraJanuary 10, 2015Went to a The Halal Guys today for their Grand Opening. Such a great spot! Simple menu (for now) and great, attentive, and speedy service. A+ I can't wait for their delivery menu in a week!
- EthanMarch 7, 2015Mix plate over rice and you're done. Hot sauce gets VERY hot. I actually prefer the stands just for the experience, but the brick and mortar place will satisfy your cravings.
- Similar taste we've all learned to love down on Sixth Ave. Portions seem a tad bit smaller & asking for extra hot yields a puzzled look. Extra $ for to go hot/white sauces. Pricer than cart.
- Matthew CaldecuttMarch 27, 2016The original is not to be missed, but the restaurant is a great way to get almost -- not exactly -- the same quality of the street cart. Go light on the hot sauce.
- Yamen SYMay 3, 2017Nice Guys and very nice arab fast Food. I would love it more, when there is bigger pieces of meat.
- Get the combo plate (chicken and lamb). Careful with the hot sauce!
- Huseyin EncAugust 16, 2016After they started franchise biz, they became like Chipotle... Plates are getting smaller, they used to put gyro or chicken to fill the plate before, now they don't even put 2 full spoon... Ripoff now
- Di RichardsFebruary 27, 2016We had the beef gyro. Very good. Mike agrees with others about the hot sauce!
- You already know what this is about, so just enjoy the meal and stop checking for tips.
- Ben RFebruary 12, 2015Prices are higher than the carts, and they no longer let you dump your own sauce on the platter. I still love them though.
- Jorge H.December 28, 2014My first experience with Halal Guys and honestly don't get the hype. No better or worse than countless other gyro platters I've had in NYC. Service leaves a lot to be desired.
- Lina CheAugust 27, 2016False advertising! They don't do deliveries, however in their website they state they do! Placed an order and never got the food! Called them to get a refund but they completely ignore my calls!
- सिद्धार्थJune 13, 2016This place is a rip off. Small gyro is 6.99+Tx and large is 7.99+Tx. And 3/4th of my bowl is lettuce+tomato+shitty rice. Why come to halal guys if not the copious amount of meat.Avoid this place.
