Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon is my go-to every time. Pair that with sweet potato fries or a cup of some of the better gumbo in the city, and you've got yourself a meal.
Classic hangout and munch spot with Village feel. I miss the original from Carmine St where they used to do Dog Paw coffee art in the lattes, though. Staff always friendly.

Free refills... even to go! Just bring your mug to the counter and tell 'em you want a roadie. They'll give you a new coffee in a to-go cup.
Great for breakfast, brunch, or a homey comfort-food meal any time. Gets crowded, but everything is delish and so it is worth the wait. Dog-friendly outside during warmer months.

Rom917August 7, 2014Egg wrap, eggs over easy, avocado, cheddar. No chips or potatoes, just a side of broccoli + a lot of spicy sauce! And the lovely Zazie to take your order! Heaven.
Don't miss the seasonal menu. Buffalo turkey mini meatballs were on point! And the roasted vegetables were no slouches either. Really though you can't go wrong with any type of meatball here.

- Great place for a business meeting. Noise level is just right, food is good but not too expensive, casual enough for a tshirt but I've been in a suit, too.
So many options on the menu! Philly cheesesteak is great. Still many things on the menu that I look forward to trying
Loved the avocado & goat cheese sandwich! The celery was a little surprising but gave it a nice crunch. Sweet potato fries were delicious.

When getting a grilled cheese here, you need to pick both bread and cheese. It makes for a difficult order. I recommend olive bread and swiss cheese. And a soup, to boot.

Get the Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. And come before 6:30pm (not 7pm!) for half-off bottles of wine
Get the breakfast quesadilla ANY TIME. One of the small set of breakfast items they make all day, but one is all you need when it's a frickin' breakfast quesadilla.

I want the food to be better here, but I still love the place for the selection, ambiance, and half price beer and wine at happy hour (6-7?)
