I will admit this place is pretty authentic for gyros. The meat is slow roasting on the spit in front of you, the old greek owner is at the end of the counter to welcome you to his place

Very good food and friendly service. Seating can be a little tight. The pork souvlaki platter is very good.

Amazing food with a great neighborhood vibe. Be sure to get some delicious chicken egg lemon soup if you come on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Doesn't look it the outside but they have the absolute best chicken pita I've ever had. Get the sandwich if you're not that hungry. The platter comes with fries.

Try the Egg lemon chicken soup on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's phenomenal. Yankee bean on Mondays is very good.

If you get the split pea soup, as for no croutons... they absorb all the liquid, leaving you with a dry soup.
