There are two or three rotating cask ales reliably on offer, and half a dozen taps pouring a similar mix of colder suds. Kudos to Starr for offering half-pints as well as $8-to-$9 Imperials. Read more
Duckpasta dish was wonderful. The portions are smallish but perfect considering they are heavy but very tasty. Also had the rabbit pie, which was very heavy, but delicious!
wonderful staff and atmosphere. maitre d said hello and waitress amy had awesome recs like these prawns! whole meal was amazing including bread, mac and cheese, fish and chips and toffee cake!
Love this place. For me it's a reminder of home, meaning England. Food is great. I went for the rabbit pie. The Argentinian red wine was great too. Devilled Eggs could be more exciting.
The decoration inside has so much thought put into it - it’s great to look at! We ate brunch in the dog themed room and it extended to the drapes, the decor, signage and more.
Roast sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding, watercress, roast potatoes, veggies, horseradish sauce and beef gravy from Stephen Star's London gastropub
this is one of the cutest restaurants I've ever been to. good beer list and tasty cocktails, the fish and chips were excellent and great service to boot.
Great brunch menu. If you're thinking about a savory dish, go for the English Breakfast. If you'd rather have a sweet dish, choose the ScotchPancakes. A nap is the perfect follow-up.
Roast beef for lunch and a litany of excellent things to pick from for dinner. Rabbit Pie is great, so is the Pasta w/ Duck. Pate is delicious along w deviled eggs. Really impressed with this place.
Really liked it here - typically English. I would definitely recommend having the Sunday lunch it was amazing. Also they had English breakfast tea which was a bonus! ☕️
The food was fantastic! I had the deviled eggs to start with the rabbit pie for my main. The barstaff were fantastic and really helpful, although we did have to wait quite a long time for a table.
Stephen Starr does it again, and this time with a British inspired pub. This gastropub knows makes delicious Cumberland Sausages with Mashed Potato and Onion Gravy and Beer-battered Fish and Chips.
For brunch, order the beet cured salmon (trust me) and the poached egg with bubble & squeak. If there's a wait, head to the top floor bar and scope a seat instead.
Afternoon tea royal set is mighty lovely. Delicious pastries and sammiches, especially the scones, teacookies, and crab sandwiches. The decor upstairs is eclectic and fun.
Stephen Starr's most exciting restaurant. From cured salmon to the best duck livermousse in town... You cask beer drinkers will be very happy with the drink selection, too. [Eater 38 Member]
The London Underground is a new dessert you can't miss - it's like a gourmet candybar. And if you are lucky enough to have Cameron as your server, be sure to follow his suggestions-I never regret it!
Cask ales! Amazing burger, insane fish & chips. The salmon & troutpate is a go to. Kevin the main barkeep is so rad. They also have a great selection of bottled beer.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and also has a fireplace. The staff was extremely professional and the food was delicious and great quality! Definitely recommend the shepherd's pie!
This is a wonderful place for drinks and dinner. I would highly recommend the duck and chicken liverparfait - amazing. The atmosphere and decor are great as well. This place is a keeper.
Love this place! Got the chicken sandwich for lunch- amaze! Came back for dinner and had the rabbit pie- very tasty! Overall great experiences both times!
Proof that pub fare is more than a fad here: the fish-and-chips, which achieves the pinnacle of moistness and flavor when its crust puffs up to encase the cod, letting the steam work its magic.
The Dandelion has a warren of dining rooms on different floors, all done up in varying levels of kitsch, but the best seats in the house are still at the crowded main bar on the first floor.
It is easy to imagine that it is made with great ingredients and served by a great chef. However, it was very... Salty. The saltiness destroyed all the good elemental umami.
The chicken-duck liverparfait is their signature dish. It's the perfect balance of sophistication, interest, and comfort. If you're not eating it, you're doing something wrong.
Order the deviled eggs as an appetizer and you'll taste a backbite of curry powder and cayenne pepper. As a main, request the rabbit, bacon, and spring vegetablepie, which arrives in a crock.
