I used to work here 15 years ago. It's had a makeover which I can't say I prefer but generally always has good staff. Close to the uni so lots of young people around.

Battered haddock and chips was very tasty and at £17.50 it's pretty good value for this part of town. Service was efficient and friendly.

Order the nachos, they're £5.50 and worth every penny :)Also they do amazing pitchers of Pimms in the summer for a really good price.

Slow (aprox 40 min for 2 roasts), poor quality and rude service. Awful value for money. Has gone downhill. I do not recommend.
