Despite its name, BD is far from any old diner, as it includes raw bar offerings like oyster- & snow crab-loaded seafood towers and specials like roasted duck breast w/ applesauce. Read more
Amazing cocktails. Teaches of Peaches is my fav. Mackerel ceviche, shotgun sandwich (tar tar, capers and aoili on a hero) and their rueben are my recs.
•Tip For Parents•. They have crayons and hats to color. They also have Diner postcards so have your kids hand write someone. P.s. My daughter did not like the homemade whip cream on her shake.

A bit overpriced compared to Brooklyn / Queens, but after all, this is Manhattan... The over easy eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was DELISH! Service was good. =)
Clearly the "popular tip" on my foursquare today was left by a particularly pretentious non-diner-friendly denizen of hell because this place left us feeling perfectly content and cozy.
Pretty good spot but seemed like the diner wanted to be more of a bar than a diner. Chef a little over the top with trying to make the food creative. Make sure you read menu in detail. Shakes are good
If you are going to schlep all the way to the Bowery you should be getting Chinese food. This place is subpar and the chocolate bacon waffles aren't all that great
Keep it simple & you must be OK. You'll be in a diner, but with a great vibe. Keep expectations under control. BTW-If they screw something up they won't correct it without a strong demand from you.
