The rooms are just right, the bathroom can be a little bigger but other than that is good, the best thing is its location. Really good to walk around and meet the city.
A Happy Hour favorite -- such an impressive place! International tapas-style menu. GORGEOUS and fancy lobby and restaurant! Find more Happy Hour BESTS in the Happy Hour Guidebook! http://bit.ly/jxrLJ
The hotel is full of charm and world class service. It's central downtown location makes it the perfect starting point for a memorable Portland adventure.
Quite possibly the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Kathryn, in the restaurant (breakfast) will make your day brighter no matter what! She's THAT good!!!
Really great location, service, accommodations and price. Santeria (hole in the wall)great mexican food. Super close. Kenny and Zuke's deli AWESOME. Close as well.
The restaurant has great happy hour fare and fun cocktails -- the "deep fried egg" with truffle oil and charred asparagus" is fantastic. Thank me later.
Gorgeous lobby with an awesome fireplace. If you're walking around downtown and it's chilly, stop in to warm up and have a drink in their handsome lounge.
Great hotel, but If you require Internet access - you might consider other options. It is free (via AT&T wifi) but it was slow and unreliable the week I was there.
Old hotel but bed is comfy. Continental breakfast is simple but gd - fresh fruits in a bowl, toast, juice, and coffee. Unfortunately, no cell phone reception on the bottom flr where the restaurant is.
Beware of the valet parking rip-off! My vehicle was parked for about 14 hours, and $29 was added to the room bill, plus the tip for retrieving my vehicle!
Avoid this hotel - mediocre and. It worth the price for the service. Noisy halls with slamming doors, lack of modernization in the rooms. Lobby looks nice but otherwise I give it 2.5 of 5 at best.
