- Love the tuna melt w/ cheddar on sourdough bread. Don't sit in the back area (near the bar) if it's getting close to 7pm b/c you'll have to move for the live band/artists at night. Many power outlets.
- DAugust 19, 2013One of the best places in Brooklyn to do work in. Lots of tables, couches, and wifi. The atmosphere is laid back enough that you can stick around here for hours without being weird.
- The Corcoran GroupJune 28, 2012Family friendly atmosphere during the day and a relaxed music venue at night. Stop in for a delicious Iced Americano and a superb cocktail by Eric.
- Tash KouriJune 17, 2012One of my fave spots in bklyn. Adorable baristas and plenty of couch space. It's very easy to loose track of time. Salads are great too. But skip the stale cakes and improv nights.
- Bryan MaAugust 23, 2013Tea Lounge feels oddly like it belongs in Portland or Seattle. Massive space, and very mishmash/bohemian interior. Fantastic co-working spot. Unremarkable but decent coffee and food.
- Chris PetesciaJanuary 17, 2012Great cafe and place to work- but do yourself a sanity-saving favor if you plan to work in the evening and make sure The Carlberg/Urie City Band is NOT "playing" ... "music(?)" on your night of choice
- CompassMay 20, 2014Open wifi, live music acts, and a coffee-house-meets-wine-bar vibe are among the reasons that laptop toting freelancers all happy hour seekers continue to pack the couches here.
- KaydeeJune 10, 2012A real community spot with good food & drink. BK freelancers & students fire up their laptops and work here all day. Enjoyed a breakfast burrito here but wish it was more hearty or at had a side or 2.
- Karan TamhaneOctober 2, 2014Great place for work or relaxation! Nice and spacious with good wifi and several power outlets. Staff is friendly and the spread is decent.
- NearSay NYCJuly 26, 2011Live bands every night, an array of tea from around the world, amazing cafe treats and couches so comfortable you may just want curl up and take a nap, makes this an N-Sider favorite!
- Regina MahoneFebruary 7, 2013Great place to meet a group, bc seats are usually available. Tea is good and outlets are usually available. BUT not my first choice. The bathroom scares me, as do the grimy couch cushions.
- MetroFocusJanuary 30, 2012If your workplace is a laptop, consider this location your new boffice (bar+office=boffice.) Come for the boffice, stay for their Moroccan Mojito (mint tea & rum) Read more on MetroFocus: Read more

- Ariel VieraAugust 7, 2014Pro-tip: Come here late-night, grab a glass of wine, sit in one of the comfy couches, and enjoy live jazz.
- This place is the best. Awesome menu and a wonderful environment to relax and work at the same time. Wonderful background music.
- Spork ThrowerSeptember 6, 2014Huge and cavernous interior, great for groups. Employees are so stoned they can't remember what you ordered a minute after you place your order and can't assemble said order correctly.
- GNTLMNJanuary 22, 2013Massive, packed, loud, but somehow awesome. A great variety of patrons, open til midnight, and even later on weekends.
- Natalia QuinteroJune 14, 2012Such a cool spot to hang out in--Get your hipster fix here. Come to read a book or grab coffee with friends.
- Jeffrey EastonDecember 7, 2010carrot cake cupcake is great, but this place stands out because of customer service - no attitude here! The second hand furniture makes it feel like your grandma's basement - in a good way.
- kelly overtonAugust 1, 2013it's not posted up on the wall menu, but they have matcha! just got a delicious hot matcha latte :-) thanks!
- Michelle BoissonNovember 20, 2010great place to just chill or do work. i love the live music. but i wish when there wasnt a band playing the music wasnt so loud. it's not club! at least half the people here are working.
- Nicole C.January 26, 2013Try the tuna melt or the caprese sandwich. And the chocolate chai tea is to die for, especially if you're iffy about teas.
- coughsodaDecember 10, 2012when the tall, pretty barista with the tatted arms is serving you, get a steamer with honey. she makes the best anywhere.
- Kate WallySeptember 6, 2013Great iced coffee, I could drink it black. Vegan red velvet cake was a little dry but still pretty good.
- Christopher BaroskyFebruary 17, 2013Order yourself a Night Manager if you like light spirits and ginger with basil flavor.
- Great place to get some work done. Plenty of power outlets, decent Wi-Fi and great coffee!
- The tea lounge has an amazing raga jam session every Thursday night (8:30-11:30)
- Great place, but getting a bagel takes forever! Even if it's empty on holiday weekends. Either their toaster is crazy slow or they week-after-week forget they put a bagel in there.
- Delicious coffee and delicious food. Also, a great place to get wi-fi and do some work! :)
- Get an iced tea (ever-changing assortment) and then step over to the bar and order a shot of your favorite liquor. Empty shot into tea. Sweeten to taste. Chill on a comfy chair.
- Probably the best chill cafe for writing in NYC. Free wifi. Lots of room. Amazing.
- Christopher PepeNovember 10, 2013Good luck getting the bartender to look up from the fascinating stuff on their iPhone so you can order a drink.
- Lily MMay 30, 2014Seriously the absolute least-organized, least-capable staff I have seen in a long time. I seriously just had to figure out whose order was whose and deliver it to the customers myself.
- If wifi isn't working for you, try changing your seat. It comes in stronger in some places than others. Don't be afraid to ask other patrons if they're also having trouble with it.
- #ultrafactsAugust 23, 2012In 2012, this shop received a Guinness World Record for fitting the most strollers into a single room.
