Airtrain it back to Manhattan if you're travelling solo. It takes an hour and it's only $7 compared to a $50 cab where you can get stuck in traffic. Just follow the signs.
The BEST way to get to JFK. Take the LIRR from Penn to Jamaica and take the AirTran right to your terminal for $13.25 in about an hour. Free between terminals.
A true jet setter takes the AirTrain and knows this line is way better than the Howard Beach one. Have an awesome trip!
