Great food. In town for work and went with people from work. All foodservice people great experience. Only thing is wish there was more spätzle in the green beanssausage sample was excellent!
One taste and you'll be glad the cream puffs are as big as your head. Incredibly good. The beer is good too and the buffet was awesome. My favorite restaurant in Columbus.
Fun place with great food and live music. Order a German beer, get your fill of sausage and other eats from the buffet, and then finish your meal with one of their massive and delicious cream puffs!
Great Bierstube-style restaurant in German Village! Great housemadesausages (although the "Bahama Mama," while great, seems an odd fit), sides, and desserts. Check out the fudge shop next door!
Food is authentically German, the waitstaff is dressed in German attire, and the restaurant is on the national registry of historic places! Known for its Bahama Mama sausage and their cream puffs.
Great menu. Awesome buffet! You gotta try the vanilla cream puff your first time but after that it's peanut butter fudge all the way. It's also the only resturant in town with my picture on the wall
This place is a great Columbus find. Located in the Herman Village, great food (brats, wurst, schnitzel, red cabbage, etc.). They have a lunch buffet that is reasonably priced.
If you are on a diet than skip dinner and just have the jumbo 16 inch softball size Creme puff. It is awesome and probably 1800 calories. I am so ashamed of my own lack of will power.
Loved by locals, this is a must try in Columbus. Feast on Schmidt's Famous Pretzel Nuggets ($5.75) for a starter w/the Bahama Mama "The Original" ($10.75), or one of the legendary sandwiches ($7+). Read more
Try the hot pretzels, cream puffs, all sausages on buffet, creamy potatoes, and more at this wonderful German restaurant. At the bar, try the beer sampler and a stein of the best Hefeweizen!
Loved the Buffet cuz you try a little bit of almost everything menu. Sausage & Hot German Potato Salad! Creampuffs yummy & huge. Don't share because they're light enough you could eat a whole one!
This iconic German Village restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate with family and friends. For five generations we have been serving authentic German food. Our sausage has become so famous that the Bahama Mama has been voted the official food of Columbus and the building is registered as a ...
