Be sure to hit up this hotel if you are looking for a truly affordable place to stay in downtown Reno. The rooms are nice and the casino isn't too bad. The Arby's downstairs is also a nice touch!
Room was large and clean. check in staff was great. Was told upon making reservation that 1st of 3 days would be comped, but Greg would not follow through therefore will not stay there again
And also the car park is too small so you have to park on street at night and its run down and unsafe in vicinity. I'd choose to stay in Virginia st in future
This is a really run down hotel and hot a package via southwest instead if the usual Hotwire. The rooms are really poor and sub standard amenities in room. Insufficient parking also for guests
ever since the cabana cafe changed you cannot get good food at this hotel except for mels...don't even try the buffet - it's horrible... the copa bar & grill it''s just okay......
Go somewhere else. Room service here sucks. Our bathroom wasn't cleaned before we checked in. They cleaned again and it was still filthy. We got disinfecting wipes and cleaned it ourselves. Stay away.
Creepy, old, weird, slow to check in. Not to mention the creepy heater/air con unit that looks like it was built in 5 minutes out of crappy sheet metal.
Sands Regency offers over 800 guestrooms, including the largest standard guestrooms in downtown Reno. All hotel guests receive valuable food, beverage, and gaming offers...and much more! We're home to great summer pool parties, the all-new Copa Bar & Grill and The Original Mel's Diner.
