Javier Plascencia's only San Diego-based restaurant; worth a try for a taste of the Baja Med cuisine that the chef has helped to make world-famous. [Eater 38 Member]
The short ribs tacos are some of the best I've ever had! The lobster in the peppers are heavenly. Tortilla soup is awesome as well. This place has some of the best food in San Diego.
I've only come here for tapashappy hour on Tuesdays so I can speak for the rest of the menu but everything I've tried is good. Fresh and pretty light on the diet. Gets packed
Try Bone marrowtaco, ahi Tuna tostada. Lobster ravioli is awesome - they did not skimp on the lobster. Warning - side of guacamole is the size of a single peanut - not worth it at all.
good to see jamón, croquetas, chistorra, gambas al ajillo, paella, pulpo... But the tapas are so small and expensive! charging $9 it is FOR FREE in most places in Spain when ordering a drink!!
Muy Muy caro para las porciones de alimentos que proporcionan, EXCELENTE SERVICIO y muy buena comida y ambiente, pero lleva la$$$$$ surtidita la cartera o la VISA, jejeje
