Skip the locker line inside Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey by entering through Filch's Emporium.
Harry Potter was standing room only and 90 min wait for a 1 in 30 chance at a wand picking your kid. The park was better at keeping people cool than Disney and there are way more conveniences.
There is a side entrance to universal studios by blue man group from IOA. No one ever goes there, so no line to get in
If you need to recharge your phone/device, there's a store called "Wossamotta U" in Toon Lagoon you can go to: $5 for 30 mins/$10 for 1 hr charge. Internet access also available there.
Once you get your standby ticket for Harry Potter walk to the entrance (at the end of the Sinbad area) and walk-in. You don't have to wait in the two hour line.
Arrive early and run to Harry Potter's Forbidden Journey, then head to Ollivander's and get your Wand
Ask for a room in tower 1. It offers great views of the park, not the interstate.
Be sure to use the extra time in the morning to see Harry Potter-- it gets way crowded after the park opens! You can get in 1 hour early.
Stay at one on-site hotel, enjoy complimentary access to the pools and amenities at the other two on-site hotels (just be sure to carry your room key with you).
If you want to send packages back to your hotel room from the parks; it doesn't get there until 10/11 am the next day.

They don't screen what u being to your room, bring booze and party before walking to Citywalk, ask for comped party-passes at registration, guy gave me two eliminating the 12$ a pop fee, free clubbin!

Don't use the Hertz car rental booth in the lobby, instead call Hertz it will save you $50-$100 per day. Nice try Hertz guy but your foolish games will only get you a bad review!

If you don't want to wait in line go into hogs head pub. They serve butter beer and real beer. The line barely exists.
Stop by the info booth underneath the staircase and ask for a complimentary coupon book for CityWalk venues and more.
