In their restaurant "Restaurang Stadshusrest", make sure to order the appetizer which is a grilled mushroom-covered toast topped with bacon. Simple yet absolutely delicious.
Hipster cafe that reminds of co-working place. One of the best filter coffees I've had. Take it with yogurt/muesli and a gruyer sandwich. Perfect breakfast!

What a view! Definite must go! Plus good and diverse menu - they serve fried herring as well as halumi burgers.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city, their always pulling a balanced espresso. And the morning pastries are great, but my favorite is the mini toasted brioche sandwich.
Even if you are not into photography, the view from and the atmosphere of the café alone is worth the entry fee! And with the Stockholm card even that is for free. ))
Great place for the weekend lunch! Come around 12 so you can choose from all menu, gets crowded quite fast. Great food. Amazing spreads with fresh bread. And excellent variety of tea.

Delicious beef Rydberg (perfectly done steak cubes with onions and butter) and very sweet and tasty fish and shellfish soup/stew (although the fish stew was served a little cold/not hot enough).
My secret hide out. The garden has a great cafe and you drink your coffee under the apple trees. Very pretty and peaceful. This whole island is great for long walks in nature.

An absolute must-see. She's beautiful, and the museum is huge and full of interesting details. English signage for tourists. Very decent cafe, too.
Great place for lunch and of course after the opera. Nice bar stools with street view. Try the classic swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes or the beef tartar. Avoid peak hours

A beautiful place with fantastic architecture. It's a special place with both forest and huge open space. In the weekends there are a little cafe in the area. Take an hour or two and just walk around

A very good place to take people visiting Sweden to any time of the year. Has something for people of all ages. This and the Wasa Museum are probably the best and least gimmicky tourist spots.

A beautiful view on the lake with restaurants and bars along the street. You can sunbathe on grass, wooden planks or rocks. On hot weekends this pace is insanely crowded.
Neat inner-city park close to where the sightseeing boats dock. Lined with small cafés, of which our favourite was the hut nearest the water (close to the statue of Karl XII).
The tradition of the Christmas Market in the Old Town dates back to the beginning of the 1900s. Open everyday until Christmas the actual market is perhaps not as great as the tradition itself. Cosy!
great espresso bar. you can ask for it to go and bring it to the garden outside Bloms cafe where its more quiet and the setting nicer.
Hands down the best espresso in Stockholm! Fresh cornettos and delicious biscotti. Cool Italian staff. Cash only, but you don't need much of it seeing as a single espresso costs you just 10kr...
Professional, quality well made Italian espresso. Genuine and fair priced this is a true gem in an otherwise pricey area of the city.
There is not enough space to explain how great this place is. There is a stall that serves a fantastic lamb sandwich in a baguette. There is also more. A lot more :)

The service is top notch. Chef Challa is really proud of his restaurant and dedicates himself 100% to it. Restaurant is a hidden gem as it's on one of the quiet side streets of Gamla Stan.
The view goddam it! No picture will be able to show how great it is. Chai latte is good too. Keep in mind that you'll have to pay 120 SEK for the entrance though as it is only for the visitors.
