If you are visiting Stockholm this is a MUST. I haven't been disappointed once. The exhibitions are so unique and vivid, every photo here is carefully selected by the artist. Best photo museum in Euro
One of the top places to visit in Stockholm, especially if you're into visual arts. Not only it has the best exhibitions, but the architecture of the building itself and interior design are stunning!
Fotografiska is most famous for their excellent photo exhibits but they also house a top restaurant with what might be the most scenic view in Stockholm!
Brilliant museum with a spectacular range of photo-art collection. The premises are very modern and well-kept. Takes several hours to observe it properly
Great museums! Usually there are 3 to 4 exhibitions on different floors. Check the exhibitions before you go! The museumcafe on the top floor has a nice view on the harbor, it worths a visit as well!
Exhibitors: Ellen von Unwerth, Zanele Muholi and Christian Tagliavani. Loved all of them! Beware if you’re sensitive of nudity, I overheard some tourists in shock. Also, the cafe has an amazing view!
An amazing museum devoted to photography. One of the rare museums you can enjoy without a tour. At the end of your visit, go to the cafe at top floor, sit by the window, and eat a chocolate ball.
Not all temporary exhibitions could interest but this is at least a must do for the permanent photos showing the history of the city through years. Cool bar & restaurant at the top with beautiful vue
I loved the exhibitions here down to the detail of exhibition design and moving through the space. An awesome bookstore too. This is my favorite photography museum thus far. A Stockholm must.
A culture experience from art to food. And the redefined upstairs with a lounge, cafe, and restaurant still boast some of the best scenic views of the city. Note that the weekends are often crowded.
My favourite place in Stockholm. Always excellent exhibitions & the food in the restaurant is also great. Try the Skagen. A brilliant way to spend an afternoon.
A must visit when in Stockholm! They also have free lockers downstairs so that you can enjoy the museum and its wonderful exhibits as well as the view from the cafe / restaurant at leisure.
Amazing experience. The photos are great and perfectly displayed. The view from the cafe is truly amazing, especially at sundown. One of my favorite places in Stockholm. The shop is also amazing. Go.
Space is really nice, we saw 4 different exhibitions which meant there was something for everyone's taste, make time for lunch or a snack in the cafe, food is very good view over Stockholm superb
En your day in Stockholm with a visit to the photography museum. Open till late, you can visit all other venues before heading down to see the fabulous exhibitions and have a well deserved drink.
Wine recommendations per glass to accompany the dish were really good ... We got a great spot at the window overlooking the Stockholm bay. Ask for a table with a nice view if you get the chance
Transitions by Helene Schmitz was mesmerizing! Very nice view on the opposing riverside Gamla Stan and Skeppsholmen from the upper floor where the café is located. The food was great as well!
Amazing exhibitions, from wide range of photographers, so something for everyone. Cafe at the top level is lovely, very Scandinavian style, and great views of the city if its too cold to stand outside
Even if you are not into photography, the view from and the atmosphere of the café alone is worth the entry fee! And with the Stockholm card even that is for free. ))
You can visit Fotografiska as a gallery. It has a really artisticarchitecture and decoration. Also you can drink coffee at the top floor. I discovered that Bryan Adams also a good photographer:)
With a wonderful view by the sea with very interresting and beautiful exhibitions. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the bar aswell. Strongly regimens.
The setups for the exhibition are always perfect. I guess the interest depends a lot on your own sensibility but the museum is worth a visit. Plus it's open until 22, which is rare in Stockholm.
Beautiful museum on photography. There were four exhibitions when we went, and Nick Brandt's Inherit the Dust was our favorite. Really liked the videos playing about the artists and their work, too.
My absolute favorite attraction in Stockholm. Despite getting less boutique and more streamlined for hoards over the years. Don't forget to have fika in the cafe!
The museum was smaller than I expected, but the exhibits were fantastic and displayed well. Great view from top floor café (or outside along the water), nice gift shop with unique items, free WiFi
Whether it is for the great exhibitions, the stunning view, the legendary parties or the delicious food, Fotografiska is a must-do in beautiful Stockholm!
Great to get a membership since the exhibits change often! Beautiful harbor views from the pricey but high-quality café and restaurant. Good place on a rainy day.
Excellent photography museum bringing it too notch exhibitions. Finish off the visit with a fikka upstairs, at the third floor cafe with incredible city views.
Spectacular building with great architecture, Scandinavian designed minimal interior and always interesting photo exhibitions. Scenic view to the city from the bar/restaurant on the second floor.
Loved the variety,as much as five different exhibitions when I was visiting. Also, check out the museum shop for an original souvenir: posters of the current exhibitions can be bought for about 120 sek
Unlike other museums usually closing at unreasonably early hours Fotografiska is opened until late evenings. Multiple exhibitions at the same time cater different tastes. Top floor bistro is a must.
This is one of the world’s largest meeting places for contemporaryphotography.Book, souvenir shop, restaurant&photo gallery. top floor café has one of Stockholm’s very best view points.
Amazing gallery, great exhibitions! Not to mention the view from the restaurant that is really beautiful! I loved this place and will definitely return! ❤️
Fotografiska is among my top 5 museums in Europe. Except great exhibitions, also good for an after work or Sunday brunch. Lovely view from the café towards Djurgården.
Stunning location, creatively curated exhibition, cafe with the best view of Stockholm by far. Yummy food on the bistroterrace and free wifi throughout. Just don't miss this. It's ace.
At this multipurpose photography museum in Södermalm, you'll find works of both emerging and established talents for sale in the small gallery and an impressive selection of monographs in the shop.
Fotografiska is one of the world’s largest meeting places for contemporary photography. Fotografiska presents four unique large exhibitions and about 20 smaller exhibitions annually. In addition to the large exhibition, Fotografiska also houses a book and souvenir shop, a restaurant, a photo gallery
