The maître d' looks like Martin Scorsese and Joe Pesci's love child, but he's nice as can be. Try the veal gnocchi!- Never skip the dessert here. Tortino Di Cioccolata, warm chocolate tort with vanilla gelato and homemade raspberry sauce is fantastic!

And I'm at Queen reliving my Italian NJ childhood before the bread basket is even here. 🐻🐻🐻- The capellini pasta is the way to go. Super thin so you can heartily taste your choice of sauce (which should be the alla carbonara, btw).

The food was tasty and the presentation was old-style classy.

Eggplant parm is my favorite dish (I'm not vegetarian!)- portions are large, service great.
Veal stew is awesome. There meat sauce is great. Everything is really good.:-)

The octopus salad, blood orange salad, and baked clams all are great appetizers.

I'm shocked this place doesn't have a 9.5+ rating. Every time we've come here everything - food, ambience, service - has been INCREDIBLE. Get the early bird 3-course pre-fixe by 6:30pm!
