- ChelseaFebruary 25, 2015This place is a hidden gem! $60 bought us a whole rotisserie chicken, a huge plate of yucca fries, a salad & 2 large glasses of wine. A new favorite. Insanely delicious & an incredible value.
- Simon KratzerJanuary 19, 2017Nice lunch in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Share the avocado salad and the chicken.
- David LewandowskiMay 20, 2021Delicious Peruvian chicken with delectable aji verde. The Matador combo is the best deal feeding many mouths and give a taste of everything. Great sangria. Salchipapas.
- Russell HirschornNovember 23, 2014Excellent food, ceviche, matador chicken platter and the fried seafood is for next time. Place is super small, but worth the squeeze.
- ZenFoodsterJuly 4, 2016Shrimp was in our order of Arroz Chaufa (w/ chicken) 2x after we requested it not to be! Why couldn't this have been remade since totally problematic for anyone w/ seafood allergies?!?
- dawn.in.newyorkJanuary 28, 2015Prepare you stomach empty. The portion is huge. The combination of side dishes including avocado salad and their signature roasted chicken is awesome.
- ZenFoodsterMarch 30, 20171/4 chicken lunch special price is no longer cheap + avocado is now left off the salad- uncool that they're cutting corners!!!
- ZenFoodsterOctober 13, 2017Chicken was RAW (see pic) & now I’m feeling SICK! I’m told manager’s name can’t be given out, shop isn’t responsible for anything amiss & to call a customer delivery svc # independent of them..Crazy!
- Marines MendezMarch 20, 2016Needless to say the chicken is the restaurant's signature dish, but the yucca fries are also incredible with he traditional green spicy sayce
- Absolutely LOVE the ceviche limeño! Avocado salad is also delicious. Lomo Saltado is also not to be missed
- Philip HarperJanuary 16, 2013Chicken is the business, mad real flavor and if you hit the green hot sauce it's sublime! Menu isn't too vast but portions are large so be easy. Prices are great! Enjoy!
- Fernando P.February 22, 2014Whole chicken and avocado salad very good. Service is fast. Only thing was the tv on loud on news and soccer. A nice music will be much better.
- Bryant BalatbatFebruary 24, 2015Matador was great although some people might find the hot dogs with fries a bit weird. It will be too much food for two so expect leftovers.
- Allison KaminskiOctober 15, 2015Mantador combo, empanadas and sangria is a must!! All of that fed 4 people easily and left us full!
- Anne SchendelJuly 1, 2014The Matador Combo was amazing! Two of us had enough leftovers for a few more meals!! All excellent!!
- The Peruvian Combo is perfect for two to split. It's just the right amount of food for a great price ($26). A pitcher of sangria will also cost you $26 so beware. Also, they only take cash and Amex. G
- Olivia FabbroJune 23, 2015Great chicken! Make sure to get the green sauce it's so yummy! skip the rice as a side it's boring
- KristiaMarie Pastor BalatbatFebruary 24, 2015Great chicken dinner! Try the green sauce! "Fries and hotdogs" as a side dish was interesting.
- The ceviche is the best! A very authentic Peruvian ceviche. A great side is the avocado salad, a healthy and delicious combination!!!
- New York HabitatDecember 7, 2011The relaxing ambiance here makes for a great date spot. Try the avocado salad and their Peruvian chicken.
- ZenFoodsterJuly 4, 2016Disappointing UES offshoot: Lunch special salad is smaller & sauces + ckn saltier than @ 34th st. Ckn not as tender/moist-order dark meat instead. Love Inca Cola but fries were not very good.
- Yuval ZukermanSeptember 27, 2016The chicken is amazing. Service is blazing quick. Salads and sides were meh.
- Brendan LewisSeptember 7, 2014Tasty tasty Sangria and the closest thing to Doña Sauce found outside of Austin Texas
- Jenna WOctober 28, 2010Get the matador- chicken, rice, beans, tostones, salchipapa and an avocado salad. Don't forget the sangria. 4 ppl a great night
- Rob MJune 20, 20137:15 pm every table occupied. Seating rules unorganized and stinking of favoritism. Service fast and non-verbal.
- Tiffany WongAugust 13, 2017a tad under-seasoned but the chicken and yucca fries were cooked/fried nicely
- The Jalea was really awesome! You should definitely try it!
- ZenFoodsterOctober 13, 2017Never ordering delivery or dining in @ this UES locale again - it’s THE WORST! Messing up orders. Freshness+cleanliness has gone out the window! Containers reeked of ammonia smell (rat or bug feces?).
- Take out: whole chicken plus three extra green sauce=best $12 you have ever spent
- if you're taking food home, make sure to remind them to pack the sauces/dips as well (especially if you liked them). they won't pack it if you don't ask.
- T SJuly 23, 2017The sea food dish (I forgot the name) was too lemony for me. Moreover the waiter was also rude..
