Great rotisserie chicken. I have it with mac&cheese and corn. Never fails. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable atmosphere. Great place to eat once in Williamsburg.
All that slow, home cooking done ahead of time so it's real fast for you. Sit inside and watch passersby on Bedford or grab and go. Really good bang for your buck meat and potatoes kind of food.
Taste of the home cooked meal: beef ribs, slow cooked pork, sweet or mashed potatoes, gravy, spinach and coleslaw + delicious Greenpoint beer. I will be back:)
Unexpectedly delicious southern home cooking. Best deal: $24 for a whole chicken and three large sides. Get the Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and collard greens.
The famous Peter's Since 1969 in Brooklyn (and now Manhattan) started as a butcher shop run by a man named Peter. But it was another man who turned it into the restaurant it is today.
Ask for the schug. It's a great middle-eastern chili condiment that they serve with some of the brunch items, but it's a great way to add excitement to pretty much everything on the menu!
Thought I wouldn't have much to eat bc it's known for its chicken..but I've never had such tasty mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac and cheese. cc @sarahlensing (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

The lunch specials, starting at $7, quarter piece of chicken, two sides and a soup. meatloaf, beef stew, sausages are a dollar more. highly recommend the meatloaf.
