Parish is great! The sandwiches are large and satisfying. Plenty of space inside, but parking can be rough if the valet isn't running (e.g. if you come during the day to use their free wifi).

Fried green tomato blt is awesome. Dark roast coffee is excellent. No one generally works the front counter but someone is always in the back if you need something. They are always friendly.

The building that houses Parish Food and Goods is over 100 years old. It was originally a piping factory along the railroad. It's also won restoration awards for keeping the original integrity.

Go the market, skip the restaurant. Ate their on 02.10.11 and the food was served cold & Harry's fish was so tough you had to saw it. The Market is cooler & a great lunch/brunch/coffee spot!
