Felt like snails, steak au poivre and steak frites so we ordered all of them. Parc did not disappoint. Recommend the tuna carpaccio also. Cocktails are strong here too, the Le Negroni was fantastic.
Everything is good here, but especially the salmontartine! Even just the bread basket with butter is much better than most American restaurants. Worth the higher prices in my opinion.
Feels very French! There’s a lot of outdoor seating, but indoor gives an authenticFrench bistro feel. Get the garlic butterescargot, beet and carrotsalad, mashed potatoes, and 1/2 roasted chicken.
I've been there for drinks; the food looks great. I should try it sometime for lunch or dinner. Still go for its great atmosphere, especially on a warm spring evening!
I had brunch on a cool fall Sunday morning. The buttermilk pancakes were very fluffy. I had the steak and egg's, loved that they didn't skimp on the egg's. Shallots and herb butter on steak 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Ask for an indoor-outdoor table overlooking the park: you'll get generous views and the pleasant din of the 150 diners behind you without the deafening buzz that is the restaurant's one true downside. Read more
I came in on Monday Labor Day for brunch and there were a lot of people here already. Walked right in and got seat for 3 with no wait. Would recommend to anyone visiting and would enjoy going back!
Want to be in France without actually being in France? Take a trip to Parc to try the ½ Lb Lobster and OnionSoup Gratinee. Eat while sitting outside overlooking Rittenhouse Square!
Prime Rittenhouse location with a view of the park! Great brunch/lunch. Try the chicken club or one of the omelets. One of the best bloody Mary's in town. Great for people watching!
Sidecar cocktail, cheese plate & bread basket are heavenly. Outdoor seating facing the park, spacious and elegant inside. Tables are dinner only and first come first served - it's packed on weekends!
The Bitches say: A. Come to Parc for a very Parisian experience, with fantastic ambiance, and predictably delicious French food. You’ll want to stay all day ... Read more
Last weekend, the food, wine, service, ambience all combined to make an elegant dining experience. In particular, the attention of Kelly our Server, and Andrea the Manager were quite exemplary:-))
Celebrating its tenth year as one of Philly's most popular (and perfectly placed), Stephen Starr's Rittenhouse Square French bistro is the place to be for brunch on the weekend.
Jeremy is the most amazing waiter! So happy and helpful and ready to offer any help needed with the menu! The mussels and veal are amazing, not to mention the breads! Awesome!
Journey to this Parisian-inspired brasserie right on Rittenhouse Square! Its traditional French bistro classics, like French onion soup and escargots, are delightful along with an expansive wine list.
The food is very good, though not very creative. And go for the outdoor seating if you can. The inside is very pretty, feels kind of lifeless. It's always more fun to watch the park instead.
Try to make a reservation on weekends other wise, you might have to settle for a 1 hour wait. Al fresco dining and indoor dining have their own waiting list, put your name down for both!
For breakfast, avoid the Eggs Basquaise. Polenta and eggs with spicy saucisson sounded simply scrumptious, but the polenta was surprisingly soupy. Next time I'll return to my favorite: quiche lorraine
Dress fashionably. The French hostess with the severe black bangs notices diners with a bit of European flair—and seats them at prime tables by the windows.
It’s the beautiful atmosphere that makes the $11 cocktails go down easier. And if you ever need a temporary escape, the Parisian bar might be one of the least Philly-feeling places in the entire city.
Love going here for brunch on my trips to Philly. Been here multiple times and never leave dissatisfied! I always get a cappuccino and yogurt parfait - fresh and yummy!
When the weather is nice, grab an outside seat overlooking Rittenhouse Square. The Romarin and Basiliccocktails are must-haves, as are the pommes frites.
Today, this place is perfect. A light. Delicious lunch with an old friend and a carafe of merlot on a perfect sunny first day of summer. I look around and pretend I am in France.
Bread basket looks too healthy to be good but try the cranberries and walnuts one. Countrychicken club comes between two buttery pieces of toast. Risk leaving here feeling like a beached whale.
