Great show during dinner. We went too early though and the first hour or two was a bit uneventful. The pig ceremony to start dinner had incredible views!
This luau was incredible! Neat activities, good food, and an amazing show complete with a fire dance! You will not be disappointed! Takes place right on the beach!
Great time, good show, fun activities, decent good, fabulous views and scenery, but Cousin Rich was the best, had the best bus ride of my life, Cousin Chris kept it fun.
My family and I all had a great time here. The overall experience was enjoyable, the staff was super welcoming and friendly, and the food was great. Don't forget to try a lava flow!
Great staff + experience overall, esp after having read many neg. reviews. Yes, its "touristy." But, how "un-touristy" can a luau catered to tourists be? Don't think u have to do the deluxe.
You have to do a luau while in Hawaii and this is one of the better options. Entertainment was great, food was average. Plus we learned a Hawaii saying: "if your in love dance, if not keep drinking."
During WWII, the area adjacent to Paradise Cove was used as a recreation center by Army and Navy servicemen. The pool is separated from the ocean by natural walls of reef over which the waves flow to
Lots of things to do while you wait for the program to start, then it's stop one, stop two, stop three, dinner. Dinner was okay. If there's something like Hometown on O'ahu, I would liken it to that.
Extremely frustrated with the first come first serve seating since we were the third family in the park and somehow the majority of the tables in our allotted sequin were already reserved-disappointed
Lava flows are delish, food is okay but you are really there for the entertainment so just enjoy that and all the free activities. All the employees are super nice and make you feel welcome.
If you befriend some of the wait staff they will bring drinks to your table just before and during dinner, that way you don't have to wait in the long lines. Just don't forget to tip well! Mahalo!
Seriously messed up... Crazy lines for everything. The simple act of getting a drink, the luau staple, meant waiting 30 minutes. They are woefully unprepared for the size of the crowds they let in.
