Lloyd GJuly 28, 2013A bit expensive for the area, but good food, and a great selection of beer. They also use local shops for their food and beverage. Oliver's is a stand out Astoria bar. it's ambiance is the casual, yet still feels like a special outing. The food is delicious, especially the truffle fries. IMHO it's a perfect bar.- Excellent draft beer selection - the Anchor holiday ale was awesome. Spicy black bean burger was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Next time I want to try the organic scotch egg.

Pema ChodenMarch 10, 2021Don’t come here for Taco Tuesday! The Taco is very basic, no sauce, no lime. Just meat thrown on white supermarket tortilla with few shreds of lettuce and little bit of cheese.
The service is superb, food is tasty and the beer flows unabatedly.
Portions tend to be small and the food over-priced. Better off sticking to the drinks and some fries. Good atmosphere, never over-crowded and awesome beer selection.

Great bar but they neglect to do buybacks even after 5 drinks.
U need to stop in past here the bartenders are brilliant.......
