- Brewbroads ReviewsAugust 24, 2017Their highly prized cans make this Belgian monastic inspired brewery notorious. Specifically, for the IPAS they swore they would never make when they initially opened. 😂
- Have been to Monkish three times. This last visit was the best one yet. Had an assortment of unfiltered IPA's & sours. All were delicious.
- Jordache Jeans is one of the smoothest and tastiest Dbl-IPAs I have tasted... Caffe Della Vita is another great triple. You can't go wrong with anything her!
- Rasmus StoltzenbergSeptember 9, 2019The queue is there for a reason. Excellent Belgian styles complemented by fabulous IPAs, which they originally swore never to brew. Anomaly & Feminist are definite go-tos. Nothing beats Monkish.
- Follow the brewery on Instagram and drive down when they have their special beer releases. Great beer sells out quickly at Monkish. It’s all good!
- JenniferSeptember 14, 2014The line out the door is there for a reason. Fantastic quality - get a sampler if you have time, but all beers tried were fantastic.
- Ricky PottsMay 30, 2023They have a lot of beers on tap and in cans. Talk to the bartender for recommendations. This place was built on Belgian beers now they focus mostly on IPA and hazys. Cheers!
- Be sure and check out their selection of bottle beers. Stuff they don't have on draft a lot!
- Thirsty JamesMay 22, 2016Small tasting room, big on the #craftbeer, get a flight, they are all so different. Feminist has hibiscus!
- Rj St ThomasJune 16, 2017My personal favorite brewery in the Torrance area! They make excellent Belgian style witbiers!
- Ricardo DorantesJune 16, 2017Not a sour beer fan but here is a must. Good prices, very good food trucks and the beer is great, come by if you can
- Usually 1 or 2 specialty beers on tap in addition to the usual line up. Great service!
- Patrick KhensovanAugust 4, 2013Cheap prices, plenty of parking, and fresh pizza. Easy to miss from the street, but definitely worth the visit with some pals. You get a decent amount of beer with the sampler, so shoot for that
- Ashley WilliamsApril 21, 2013$8 flights! Super friendly and personable staff. Kept a token for my last beer on a later visit. Learned a lot on the tour. Overall great brewery
- Los Angeles Finest Craft Beer. Belgians made exceptionally well. Bring food as their beers yearn for fine quality eats.
- Alex RobertsonJuly 10, 2022Foggier Window is great if they have that. Don’t love their TIPAs and some below that disappoint too relative to the brewery’s hype. Great beers all told, somewhat unexceptional space
- Always great options on tap. Staff's excellent and the atmosphere is fun. One of L.A. County's best breweries.
- Rachel KMarch 6, 2016Buy a $9 beer tasting flight and you get four wooden tokens, each getting you a pretty heavy pour.
- One of the best breweries in Los Angeles. Amazing Belgian, Sour, and Hazy IPA style beers. Small, but makes you feel right at home.
- Delicious beers made by amazing people. Make sure to try one of their hazy IPA’s!!
- Nicole KastenAugust 31, 2015Well crafted Belgian style beers. Hoppish, Triumphish and Shadowboxing were great and they use restraint on the flavorings.
- Known for their hazy IPAs. Food truck available outside daily, but pretzels are always free inside! Beware of beer release days; the lines and brewery will be packed.
- They invite a local food truck to serve up grub on Fridays and Saturdays. Check their twitter or just call to find out who it is.
- Rain FairyJuly 27, 2013It has been crowded. Just in case, bring a folding chair and chill by the back door if the spot is open.
- Everything is delicious but Floraison is probably my favorite (this week!).
- Nathalie ElyseJanuary 3, 2016Tried a few beers and they were just OK. However, the ambiance is good.
